The following is a discussion, in bulletin-insert format, presented by the District Board of Stewardship regarding the Kansas District Office and its relationship with the congregations of Kansas and the Synodical Office.
                                       
Part 1
Discusses regions, circuits, number of congregations/schools, congregational receipts and the Office of the President and the basic ministry of the District Office to our churches and church workers.
       
                                       
Part 2
Discusses how departments and Boards--Missions & Stewardship, Board of Missions, Board of Caring Ministry--of the Kansas District are involved beyond what local congregations can do in outreach through missions, as well as providing caring ministry
           
                                       
Part 3
Highlights of this discussion involve the Business Office and Mission/Stewardship departments and their boards. The Business Office offers up-to-date congregational support services. Missioin/Stewardship provides congregational consulting services in the areas of stewardship, leadership training and strategic planning.
     
     
                                       
Part 4

Educational Services involves ministry to all of our Lutheran schools (preschools, elementary, daycares), youth, family life, and singles. Part 5
The Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) and Planned Giving departments are the focus of this discussion which deals with the financial stewardship and technical support . Local LCMS congregations depend on the financial stewardship of their members for resources to support a range of local ministries and provide for adequate physical facilities.
