Joyce Duitsman - Education 713 Mound, Atchison 66002 jim.duitsman@att.net Joyce has been a teacher at Trinity Lutheran School in Atchison for the last 22 years and also taught at Zion-St. John Lutheran in Paullina, Iowa. She served on several District committees in the past (and present) and has also been active in her local church organizations (PTL, LWML, Circles, etc.). She's taught Sunday School and has led youth groups iin the past. Joyce and her husband Jim have three grown children.

Rev. Rodney Fritz - Circuit Counselor Rep, Administration 2942 27th Road, Hanover 66945 rdftlc@kansas.net Pastor Fritz has served Trinity Lutheran Church, Hanover, since 1980. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis in 1980. During his time at Trinity, he has held several circuit offices, served the LLL as District Pastoral Advisor and now on the Board of Directors. Hobbies include collecting all things John Deere.

Ivan Grimm - Education 2557 Farley, Overland Park 66213 bgrimm@everestkc.net Ivan is a member of Bethany, Overland Park. He presently serves on the Stewardship Committee and is March and September usher captain for the 11:00 service. He and his wife have enjoyed 48 years of marriage. They've been blessed with two sons (Jeff and Brian) and also two daughter-in-laws and five grandchildren who are all active in the Lutheran church. Also, Ivan will be serving the LLL as President of the Kansas District until October 2010. He graduated from Corleton College in 1960 and retired from Mobil with 37 years of service.

Rev. Robert Grimm - District Secretary, Stewardship 706 Iowa St, Alma 66401 r.w.grimm@juno.com Bob serves as the pastor of St. John, Alma. He grew up on a dairy farm in Minnesota, and attended Lutheran schools there before going to college and seminary. His entire public ministry has been in Kansas. He has a love for agriculture and God's creation, and has served our district promoting Christian growth amidst changes in rural life.

Steve Hanschu - Missions 827 Mechanic, Emporia 66801 shanschu@emporia.edu Steve is a member of Messiah, Emporia and has served as Spiritual Life Team Leader, youth leader, and church archivist. He is a creditental deacon as a graduate of the LLTI. He is immediate past president of the Kansas District Lutheran Laymen's League and has served as a member at large of the International LLL. He serves on various district commission and committees. He also serves on various civic and non-profit organizations in the community.

He is a graduate of Concordia, Seward and received his Masters from Washburn University in Topeka. He has served on various District and Synodical committees and task forces.

Rev. Randall Jahnke - 3rd Vice President, Missions 2217 Post Ave, Dodge City 67801 rjahnke@swbell.net Rev. Jahnke currently serves as pastor of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Dodge City. He is serving a third term as Vice President of the Kansas District. Prior to coming to the Kansas District in 1992, he served in Sidney, Nebraska and Circuit Counselor in the Wyoming District. He is a 1984 graduate of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.

Ken Jorns - Missions 36114 W Sun City Rd, Turon 67583 showboa1@sctelcom.net Ken is a graduate of Kansas State University and self-employed farmer. He has served his congregation, St. Paul, Preston as congregation chairman, elder, treasurer, confirmation class teacher. His community involvement has included membership on the Reno Co. Zoning Board and the County Economic Development Committe. Currently he serves as Chairman of the Board of Horizons Community Mental Health Association. He also has been a soloist for weddings, funerals and religious and civic events. Ken continues to serve on the KS LCMS Guinea Partnership Taskforce which he has been a part of since its inception.

Graduating from Concordia Seminary in 1979, he began his ministry at the St. Paul, Fairview/Zion, Powhattan dual parish. From 1986 to the present he has served as pastor of Zion Lutheran Church , Linn. He has previously served the district as circuit counselor for Circuits 1 & 7.

Rev. Keith E. Kohlmeier - President 1000 SW 10th Ave, Topeka 66604 kekohl@kslcms.org Rev. Kohlmeier continues to serve as the Kansas District President, a position he has held since 2003. Prior to that, he served at Ascension, Wichita ; First English, Spencer, Iowa; and Holy Trinity, Farnhamville, IA. He graduated from Concordia Seminary in Ft. Wayne in 1978 in the Kansas District for 16 years. He previously served as a District Vice President, a member of the Board of Directors, and as Circuit Counselor.

She is also active in the Kansas District LWML and serves as President. She has retired from her position of Registrar with Colby Community College.

Past parishes where he has served in Kansas are St. Matthew, Nortonville and Mt. Calvary, Marysville. He has previously the Kansas District as Secretary, Circuit Counselor and District/Synod Support Team. He graduated from St. John-Winfield, Concordia Senior College-Ft. Wayne, IN and Concordia Theological Seminary-Ft. Wayne, IN in 1978.

Tim is a member at St. John, Palmer where his service to the church has included Congregation Chair, Elder, Sunday School and Midweek Teacher, Building Committee Chair and member of the choir. He has also served twice as a delegate to the District Convention. Tim also has a strong sense of community involvement. Special gifts include public speaking, teaching and administration.

Mark Schotte - Caring Ministry 1425 E 4th, Winfield 67156 trinitymarks@hotmail.com Mark currently serves as principal/ teacher at Trinity Lutheran School in Winfield. He received his Bachelor's degree in Elementary Ed from St. John-Winfield in 1982 and his Mastor's Degree from Wichita State University in 1993. He has taught in Lutheran schools for 28 years. In addition to the Board of Directors, Mark has served as chair of the Kansas District Teacher's Conference and the Kansas District Principals' Conference.

She has also been involved on the district level of the Kansas LWML where her service has included Manhattan Zone President. Barbara was born in Iowa, reared in Nebraska and settled in Kansas--the daughter of a Lutheran school teacher. She is the mother of 3, grandmother of 6, stepgrandmother of two and step-great-grandmother of four. Barb has worked 33 years in the School District/Supt. office and has been an Office Manager at a funeral home for the last 9 years.

Ed Trost - 1st Vice President, Caring Ministry 9101 Lamar Ave, Overland Park 66207 et@bethanylutheran-op.org For the past 18 years, Pastor Ed has served as the Senior Pastor of Bethany Lutheran Church in Overland Park and Stilwell. His ministry began in Kansas (Mt. Calvary, Wamego) in 1967. He also served as the Senior Pastor at Holy Cross in Wichita. He has served the Kansas District as Vice President, Circuit Counselor, member of the Mission Board and Board of Caring Ministry.

Doug Wolters - Stewardship 9453 Rd Z, Atwood 67730 doug@surefireag.com Doug is a member of Redeemer, Atwood and has served as chairman, elder, trustee and several other offices. He and his wife, Pattie, have farmed since graduating from Kansas State in 1970. He has served on County Extention boards, Farm Bureau and various farm co-op positions.
